Our operator interface, which was developed together with the users and constantly refined, guarantees a user-friendly, practice-oriented and easy control of the whole plastic sheet extrusion line.
More about system controlPlastic sheet extrusion by diamat is not limited to the sheet extruder itself. Our plate or sheet extrusion lines come with everything you need to turn pellets or flakes into plastic plates or foil rolled up on coils. This includes material handling, crystallization and drying, extruders, calender rollers for polishing, slitters and foil winding machines. And we can also add machines for lamination and coating. Our extruders can produce foils, films, sheets and plates from 100 µm to 2500 µm – and a speed of up to 100 m per minute. The thinnest of them are produced with flat film extrusion machines.
Of course we can also provide you with single machines for an existing plastic sheet extrusion line or we can integrate machines from other suppliers into our plastic sheet extrusion lines.
Our plastic sheet extrusion machines are made in Germany according to the highest standards. A sophisticated degassing process can guarantee food grade quality according to “super clean”-standards of FDA and EFSA.
With a plastic sheet extrusion line from Diamat, trouble-free 24/7 production with the highest quality of sheets or plates is no longer a question, but a matter of course.
Extrudable plastics
Our plastic extruder machines can mix components to the gram and melt them at exactly the right temperature.
Therefore our plastic extruders are able to extrude a large variety of plastics including:
- polypropylene (PP)
- polyethylene (PE, also known as polyethene or polymethylene)
- high-density polyethylene (PE-HD)
- polyurethane (PU or PUR)
- thermoplastic polyurethane (TUR)
- polystyrene (PS)
- acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS)
- ethylene vinyl alcohol (EVOH)
and various polyesters like polyethylene terephthalate (PET – including recycled flakes) or amorphous PET (A-PET).
